What is moderate IV sedation?

Moderate IV sedation works as a form of conscious sedation to help you feel relaxed during your dental care. This method does not put you fully to sleep, but brings you in a state of relaxation that makes you unconcerned and less aware of your surroundings. You are able to breathe independently without assistance.

Moderate IV Sedation is administered intravenously, through a vein. The delivery system makes the medication work faster and can be continuously adjusted.
